Supervising Doctor and Mohs Surgeon
Dr. Morrison is an expert in General Dermatology, Mohs Micrographic Surgery and Cosmetic Dermatology. She graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Biology from the University of West Florida in 2006, and received her Doctorate in Osteopathy from the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2010.
Dr. Morrison completed her Residency in Dermatology and Fellowship in Mohs Micrographic Surgery at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital- Michigan State University.
Dr. Morrison has published many journal articles, is a guest editor for a few dermatology journals and has coauthored multiple book chapters in the dermatologic literature. She is presently a member of the Tennessee Dermatologic Society, Tennessee Medical Association, the American Osteopathic College of Dermatology, the American Academy of Dermatology and the American Society of Dermatologic Surgeons.
Dr. Morrison’s research focuses on new therapies for nonmelanoma skin cancer and melanoma epidemiology, and has been invited to lecture at multiple national and state meetings.
Dr. Morrison is also trained in aesthetic dermatology, with extensive training in mid face rejuvenation using toxins and fillers.
When not working Dr. Morrison enjoys hiking and camping with her husband and 3 dogs, as well as photography.
Physician Assistant Certified
Amy Methvin, PA-C is excited to partner with Dr. Megan Morrison in opening FirstCare Dermatology of Lawrenceburg of Lawrenceburg in 2016.
Amy is a 2005 graduate of the University of Alabama at Birmingham in Physician Assistant Studies and brings over 12 years of clinical experience to First Care. Her first 4 years of experience were in multi-specialty surgical care. The past 8 years, Amy has worked in surgical and general dermatology. Amy began specializing in dermatology outside San Francisco at East Bay Skin Cancer Center where she focused on Mohs surgery and post- Mohs surgical repair.
Prevention and early diagnosis of skin cancer is her primary focus, but she is experienced and proficient in a wide range of dermatology procedures, techniques, and diagnoses. Amy is a member of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants and the American Academy of Physician Assistants.
Amy also offers anti-aging treatments including Botox, Juvederm, chemical peels, and facial regimens. A natural look is always the goal to enhance your natural beauty and never leave you looking “fake” or like you “have had something done.”
Amy is a resident of Lawrence County and is thankful for the opportunity to live and work in Lawrenceburg and care for her local community.
When not in the office, Amy enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, and cooking.
Jenn Woodall Marston
Jenn Woodall is our licensed aesthetician, and we are excited to have her experience and friendly face as part of FirstCare Dermatology of Lawrenceburg. Jenn obtained her aesthetic license from Empire Beauty in Brentwood TN in 2010. Since then she has been certified in the art of Microblading, lash lifting and professional individual lash extension application. Jennifer also brings a wide variety of services with her including: one-of-a-kind facials, chemical and enzyme peels by glo skin beauty, diamond tip microdermabrasion, lash and brow tinting, derma planing and a full array of waxing techniques. Jennifer has specialized in makeup artistry for 15 years, many of these years with Christian Dior. Jenn strives to make her clients glow after each session, both internally and externally. Jenn takes joy in customizing each treatment based on her clients’ ever-changing needs. Jenn also finds it vital to provide each client with their own customized regimen to ensure they have the best at home routine to maintain professional results.
Jenn grew up with parents in the air force and has lived in 4 countries and 9 states prior to officially planting roots in Franklin, Tennessee towards the end of 8th grade. Since then, she met her husband (a Lawrenceburg native) and decided to support him and make her move down South in 2015. To this day, she say it’s the best thing that could have happened. She has never enjoyed her career more, nor the feeling this town’s unconditional love and support radiates amongst one another. In Jenn’s free time, she enjoys gardening, spending time on the family farm with her animals, hiking, kayaking, camping and creating art in all forms.
Office Manager and Receptionist
Bridgett Mitchell will be the first friendly face you see when entering FirstCare Dermatology of Lawrenceburg. She is our office manager and receptionist. Bridgett is exceptional at what she does because of her positive attitude and enthusiasm for the care we provide. She strives for excellence in customer service and office skills. Bridgett naturally makes you feel welcome and like family which is exactly what we strive for at FirstCare Dermatology of Lawrenceburg. Bridgett is married with 3 active boys that keep her busy outside of the office.
